APY Art Centre Collective Nyurpaya Kaika, Tuppy Goodwin and Nyunmiti Burton celebrate the incredible success of the APY Renal Auction with some of their biggest supporters!

The APY Art Centre Collective has allowed me an unique and exciting opportunity to support art and cultural activity of the APY Lands at a grass roots level. By making an annual donation I know I am playing my part in supporting the vision of APY Elders to keep culture strong and use the celebration of culture in Art Centres as a vehicle for jobs in APY communities. The calibre of art making on the APY Lands is phenomenal and it is a thrill to be a part of the APY Art Centre story.

While APY Art Centres have a long an impressive history, the APY Art Centre Collective is a new organisation born out of the ongoing hard work of Anangu Artists over many years. Committed to the expansive vision and grass roots priorities of APY Elders our agenda is far larger than our bank balance allows. Art sales and government assistance don’t completely cover our annual costs, so we rely on philanthropic support from art lovers like you to enable our work to continue with such rigour.

As a non-profit organisation, every dollar you share with us goes towards what you what you see and experience in the gallery and more importantly, toward tangible outcomes on the ground in the 7 remote communities on the APY Lands. APY Art centres are well known to enable and promote cultural maintenance, are a driving force in maintaining the health and well being of all APY community members and are key to delivering some of the most celebrated artistic outcomes in the Indigenous Arts calendar today.

Our Annual Giving Program is an essential component of our overall funding as your regular donations enable us to plan for the year ahead. Importantly, it means that we’re able to continue working to positively impact APY communities through increased employment opportunities for young Indigenous Artists and Arts workers on the APY Lands. It also increases our capacity to support the development and creation of compelling artistic outcomes underpinned by serious cultural integrity.

We are delighted to receive donations of any value. All are welcome and tax-deductible. Please choose from one of the APY Art Centre Collective Annual Giving Programs.
